2019 Wrap Up

Hello everyone, and goodbye 2019. This year has been one, well, one of those years that would see great things. Even perhaps a new book out. Yet here we are, still with many promises but nothing finished. As you may be aware, I've been writing on a new series. I split from the Mermaid Adventures series when I got an idea that wouldn't go away. At the time, I thought it would be finished quickly, such that I could get back to the 3rd novel to pick up after The Mermaid's Apprentice. In the time since, I've written quite a bit of material for the new books. I'm what people call a "seat of the pants" writer. I don't create...

Christmas Ball

Available December 15th 2016! The e-book is free through Christmas, wherever it is available (Kindle, Nook, etc) Don't think I'll get it to Google Play, but we'll see. M3 (Book 3 of the Mermaid Adventure series) is taking so long, that most of 2016 has slipped by without more mermaid love! That's no good! So! I took a couple weeks "off" to pen "Christmas Ball - A Mermaid Story." A fun little adventure to tide us over until M3 is finished. The reason it is called M4+, is because for our mermaids to experience Christmas, it would have to take place after book 20 (or so). Because my books are about a week of the characters lives, and M3 is...

New (Old) Store

The reason that led to putting up the store for the website, is that I wanted Mermaid sweatshirts; now that it's gotten colder. I'd had a few t-shirts made at the start of the summer. I'd looked for a shirt printer that would enable me to sell the shirts I loved, but would print them on demand as people wanted them. While looking at online printers I stumbled upon a printer that does nearly what I want. Unfortunately I have to choose the shirt types for people and hope they like them. Do send in suggestions if you'd like something else put up on the store. It isn't the biggest selection, but it might be available. I ordered the Hoodie....

Arlo - Missing Journal 7

I’ve some entries for Arlo’s Journal from “Mermaid Rising” that set up “The Mermaid’s Apprentice.” Here’s the 7th and last entry following those from Section 2 of “Mermaid Rising.” July 20th – Time Flys I’m back on The Lazy Cloud with several sacks of mangos. Life is good. A quick look at emails, and I see that Jeb is coming! Good word at last. I want to click my heels and settle for tapping my fingers as I read the rest of his message. He says he’s bringing his daughter. I get so mad I fling my hat across the room, and about knock over the computer. Getting up I fetch the hat, settle it back on my head before returning...

Arlo - Missing Journal 6

I’ve some entries for Arlo’s Journal from “Mermaid Rising” that set up “The Mermaid’s Apprentice.” Here’s the 6th entry following those from Section 2 of “Mermaid Rising.” July 18th – Jeb Replies It turns out, I’m not the expert at computers that I like to think myself to be. I missed Jeb’s reply the day before. He would come, and had prepared to come right away. I love my brother and his willingness to help at the drop of a hat. Melanie is coming, I get so excited I dance and about fall on my face forgetting my leg. I cry out and fall into a disgraceful, non-elegant, one legged push-up. Considering that I don’t re-injure the leg I’m giddy still. Then...
